Course Description: This interactive Set One session introduces foundational concepts
of equity and inclusion in early learning materials. Participants
explore how books, toys, posters, and classroom visuals shape
identity, belonging, and early messages about diversity. Through
analysis and reflection, they learn to identify stereotypes, invisibility,
and bias, and apply strategies for selecting and using inclusive,
equitable materials in early learning environments.
