Summary Description: In this training session, participants will examine the role accurate, objective data plays in making decisions about your family child care environment, compare common forms of observation including anecdotal, event/ time sampling, and checklists based upon an intentional question, and practice observing and creating documentation that accurately records children’s actions
**Important Note** Because we will be actively applying the methods introduced, participants MUST have already completed the Set One session Power in Your Pocket: Techniques for Observing Children or have strong understanding of Observation techniques in order to attend.
